Catholic schools across Central Texas are opening their doors to support families interested in applying for TEFA. Whether you’re just getting started or need help submitting your application, our TEFA Application Clinics are designed to provide clarity, confidence, and one-on-one assistance.
These clinics are open to current and prospective families and are offered at no cost.

What is a TEFA Application Clinic?
A TEFA Application Clinic is an in-person support session hosted by a Catholic school where families can:
Learn the basics of the TEFA program.
Receive guidance on completing the application
Get help uploading the required documents
Ask questions in a supportive, welcoming environment
School staff will be available to assist you throughout the process

1. PROOF OF RESIDENCY- Lease, mortgage, or utility bill
- Texas ID/driver’s license
- Voter registration
- Government agency letter
- Notarized affidavit
2. PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP- Birth certificate
- U.S. passport
- Naturalization certificate
- DHS documents
3. PROOF OF INCOME- IRS transcript (if available)
- Most recent tax return (2024)
- Texas Workforce Commission income data
